Packing Lists

Sometimes packing for summer camp can be tricky! You want to make sure your camper is prepared for warm and cool weather alike, for swimming, rock climbing, and horseback riding. It can seem like a lot! We’ve got you covered to make sure you pack all the basics! Please note, whatever you do pack for your camper, make sure it’s labeled. We’d hate for something to get lost or go home with someone else because of a miscommunication that could have been solved with a couple marks of sharpie! Learn more about what to pack here! Please let us know if you do not have any of the items listed as we have a few sleeping bags and other miscellaneous items that can be borrowed as needed.

Check In Day

Camper check in is Sunday July 21, 2024 from 2-4pm. We recognize that the day of arrival at camp is an exciting time for you and your kiddos. We’ll do everything in our control to make your experience at Camper Check-In simple, convenient and fun! After completing your on-site registration check-list, you’ll drop your camper at their designated village before heading home for a week of freedom and bliss while MSR staff provide around-the-clock childcare!

If you have questions or concerns at any point while on MSR property, our friendly staff wear easily identifiable staff shirts and are happy to offer help or connect you with the Summer Camp Director.

PICK UP DAY

Camper pick up in Friday July 26, 2024 from 10am to 12:00pm. Our hope is that you are able to leave camp feeling confident that your camper will come home saying they had the “best summer ever!”

*Your camper can only be picked up by a person on your account’s authorized pick up list. If you are the primary or secondary contact on your camper’s account, you are automatically an authorized pick up. Staff will be checking IDs to confirm the name and address of the person picking up your camper.

Directions to Camp

8000 TOWER HILL RD, CASPER, WY 82601

1. TAKE CASPER MOUNTAIN RD SOUTH OUT OF TOWN. OFF WY BLVD/WY 258

2. DRIVE 5.7 MILES THEN STAY LEFT AT FORK TO REMAIN ON CASPER MOUNTAIN RD.

3. DRIVE 1.4 MILES TO BEAR TRAP MEADOW THEN MAKE A SHARP LEFT TURN ONTO TOWER LOOP RD/EAST END RD

4. DRIVE 0.6 MILE THEN TURN LEFT ONTO TOWERHILL CAMPGROUND RD AND DRIVE THROUGH THE CAMPGROUND SITES.

5. DRIVE 0.25 MILE THEN TURN LEFT ONTO TOWER HILL RD. NEAR THE END OF CAMPGROUND CAMPSITES

6. DRIVE 1.0 MILE OVER TOWER HILL AND MILLS SPRING RANCH IS ALL THE WAY AT THE END OF THE ROAD.

Camp Menus

Our kitchen staff prepare well balanced meals for our staff and campers at MSR. Please make sure to list any allergies or dietary needs during the registration process

Camper Mail

We know it’s only a week that your camper is gone, but everyone loves to get mail! We have a check in spot specifically for letters and packages. Be sure to label your child’s package with the following information: camper first and last name and day of the week to be delivered.

Email: This is a great way for you and for family and friends to let your camper know you’re thinking of them! We’ll be utilizing our online system for camper email communication. Please log-in to your account to write camper mail! We deliver emails every single day!

Lost & Found

We work hard to give campers the opportunity to claim lost and found items throughout the week during evening programming, but understand that sometimes they might return home with a few less things than they left with. If that is the case, please fill out a lost and found form below. We will do our best to hunt down the missing item(s), but appreciate your understanding that some lost socks are never found.
