Meet Our Speaker

David L. Hartman is a pastor, evangelist, author, and leader with a lifelong passion for helping people share their faith naturally and effectively.

With more than 30 years of ministry experience, David has served as a pastor, church planter, evangelist, and conference administrator. From approximately 1997 to 2007, he pastored the Highland Seventh-day Adventist Church in Portland, Tennessee, where he developed much of the practical ministry framework that would later shape his teaching on personal evangelism.

David earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University with an emphasis in evangelism and church growth, focusing his doctoral research on witnessing styles and how church members can be equipped to share Christ in ways that align with their God-given personalities.

He is the author of Winning Ways to Witness, this year’s Camp Meeting theme resource, which explores seven distinct witnessing styles that help believers connect with others in authentic and meaningful ways.

David currently serves as the Ministerial and Evangelism Director for the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference, where he continues to train pastors and church members in evangelism, discipleship, and local church mission.

David and his wife, Judi, have two married children, Matthew (married to Lis) and Beth (married to Ben), and share a deep commitment to helping others discover the joy of leading people to Jesus.

Join us at Wyoming Camp Meeting as David invites us to explore practical, Christ-centered ways to become more effective witnesses in our everyday lives.
